"father and son" (2006) fountain by louis bourgeois at olympic sculpture park. stopped by today during break from school. (i love how the park is just a few minutes away from school.) every hour on the hour, the spray of the fountain shifts from covering one figure to covering the other. i love the message behind it. basically, one of the figures is always inaccessible (physically, emotionally, metaphorically) by the other. "ultimately, father and son conveys a deeply humanistic message of understanding, yearning and love."
